Why are the pads yellow?
The colour comes naturally from the sea buckthorn water in the formula rather than from any added colourant. It can vary slightly between batches, which is normal for a plant-derived ingredient and does not affect how the pads perform.
Which side of the pad do I use first?
Sweep with the embossed side first for a light polish over dead skin cells, then flip to the silky side to finish. Keep them away from the eye area, and press the lid shut afterwards so the remaining pads do not dry out.
Can I use them on the same night as retinol?
Use them on alternate evenings instead. The pads pair a stable vitamin C derivative with a mild acid, and stacking that with retinol in one sitting is the usual cause of stinging. Sunscreen the next morning is essential.
