I am allergic to bees or honey. Can I use this?
Best not to. The serum is 60% propolis extract, which bees produce, and Beauty of Joseon confirm it is not vegan. If you have any bee-related allergy, skip it or speak to a doctor first.
Is the breakout I am getting purging?
It contains betaine salicylate, a gentle BHA, so a brief flare in spots where you already break out can be turnover settling. Persistent new bumps in places you normally do not react are more likely irritation, so stop.
Does it feel sticky or pill under sunscreen?
At 60% propolis it does go on slightly tacky. Two or three drops patted in, then half a minute to settle, is usually enough to stop pilling under sunscreen or makeup. Using too much is what causes rolling.
